Privacy policy

Viewing requests. The home and viewing time you choose, your name and email address, when you would like to move, and your agreement that we may contact you. Optional: your phone number and a note.

Appraisal requests (owners). Your name, email address, the property's address, neighbourhood and type, whether it is rented now, and your agreement that we may contact you. Optional: your phone number, a note, and the rent estimate you saw with the bedrooms, bathrooms and condition you chose for it.

Repair reports (residents). Your name, email address and phone number, the address and unit, the kind of repair, how urgent it is, whether we may let ourselves in, and your description.

We never ask for a Social Security number, bank details or ID documents on this website, and the forms refuse anything that looks like a Social Security number. Tenant screening (credit, background and income checks) is done by a screening service over its own secure link, under its own privacy policy, and only with your consent.

The forms also have a hidden field that only spam bots fill in; we do not keep it.

Our hosting provider records basic technical data (IP address, browser type, pages requested) to keep the site secure and working.

• To arrange and confirm the viewing you asked for.
• To call you about an appraisal and send you a rent range and a proposal.
• To book and follow up the repair you reported, including passing your name, phone and address to the trade who does it.
• To protect the site from spam and abuse.
• If you accept analytics, to understand which pages are useful, in aggregate.

The site works without optional cookies. If analytics is switched on for this site and you click Accept in the cookie banner, we load Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without building a profile of you. If you click Decline, nothing optional loads.

Your choice is stored in your own browser. You can change it any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer.

We do not sell your information or use it for marketing. We share it only with services that help us run the site:

• Website hosting (for example Vercel).
• Email delivery of your requests to our team (Resend).
• A database that keeps requests for our team to answer (for example Upstash), when one is connected.
• The trades we send to a repair (your name, phone, address and the description only).
• Spam protection on the forms (Cloudflare Turnstile), when it is switched on.
• Page-view analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics), only when it is switched on and you accept it.

The Get directions link takes you to Google Maps; Google's own privacy policy applies there.

Viewing and appraisal requests are deleted within 12 months unless they lead to a lease or a management agreement. Repair reports are kept for as long as we manage the home and for the period the law requires after that, as a record of its upkeep.

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email hello@example.com and we will reply within 30 days.

If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to ask for a copy, to have it corrected or deleted, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

To use these rights, email hello@example.com. We will confirm your request and reply within 45 days. You can use an authorized agent, and we will not treat you differently for using any of these rights.

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser sends it, we treat it as a request to opt out of sale and sharing, and we keep optional analytics off for that browser without asking.
